Fusee Dial Wall Clock – Chain-driven – Oak – Great Condition

Clockwise is proud to present another lovely fusee dial clock for your consideration. This is a delightful English wall clock from H. S. Butcher of Wellingborough who is listed as working from 1847 until 1877.

The substantial 8 day duration anchor escapement fusee movement has squared plates and the chain-driven movement is in perfect order having just been serviced and retaining its original pendulum. This clock comes with my three year guarantee.

The twelve inch dial and original spade hands are in great condition with the maker”s name to the dial and the turned oak surround and cabinet box, which has an opening side door and a lower door with working lock, are all in excellent condition. The heavy cast brass bezel closes securely and there are original stabilising hooks to each lower corner of the case.

Delivery is available, please enquire for details.

Clockwise specialises in longcase and bracket clocks and with clients from the world of business, film, sport, royalty and aristocracy – yet more than happy with traditional clients – Clockwise has an unrivalled reputation for excellence and superb service.
