American Ansonia Striking Mantel Clock, Excellent Condition

This is a fine example of a lovely American Ansonia 8 day striking clock dating from the mid 1800”s in a dark oak case in lovely unmarked virtually original condition. This handsome clock has a brass bezel surrounding an enamel dial with the original hands present and comes with my two year guarantee as standard. With American clocks you always get a lot of presence for your pounds and this recently overhauled clock certainly does not disappoint.

Rather than trusting a courier of any sort I unreservedly recommend collection or I can deliver regionally. All antique clocks require delicate handling and specific setting up so it is far better for a dealer to meet a client and talk them through the process, or set the clock up for them, rather than leave the client struggling at the other end on their own. I do post items regularly and I have had no casualties so far but I do prefer to keep life simple.
