I enjoyed dealing with David. He's a decent sort and an excellent clock restorer. OK, delivery dates were stretched a little but the end result of his expertise is a 1690 long case clockworks which have never run better or quieter. We are absolutely thrilled with our clock; made by my great, great uncle, it has sentimental value but it is also beautiful and impeccably restored by David. David was terrific from the start.  The long case clock he repaired for me is now working terrifically well.  He even brought the clock back to my house and reinstalled it to make sure it was working in its case.  He gave me cost options after looking at the clock for a few days so that I could decide how much of a refurbishment to do. I have a single hand, long pendulum wall clock, circa 1730.  Although the clock had been serviced by another repairer it had been prone to stopping and had an irregular beat. My family long case clock had not been serviced since 1948 and when it ground to a halt, I had to look around for someone reliable to do the necessary to get it going again. I spoke to David at Clockwise and he asked me to bring it in, From thereon, everything happened efficiently, smoothly and rapidly. I now have my clock back, working and giving me great satisfacion. Highly recommended. I couldn't be more pleased with the repair David did to my old grandfather clock yesterday. David is very friendly, knows his subject and prepared to spend time with his customers.  We bought a beautiful grandfather clock from him after seeing it in the show space.
